Built for pasture-based egg production, our rollaway nest box system keeps eggs clean and protected while making collection fast and ergonomic. Slanted rollaway floors guide eggs into a protected tray, and a central conveyor belt brings them to your collection point—no dirty nests, no cracked eggs, less labor.

Design tips for Eggmobiles
For easiest install and maintenance, we recommend a gable roof with two sloping sides that meet at a central ridge, as this will allow optimal space usage. One-sided (Ridgedale-style) roofs can work but space is tight and service access is limited.

Compliance note
Each roll away nest box segment provides exactly 1 m² of nest floor area. Under EU rules, that is enough for up to 120 hens in conventional and free-range systems (max. 120 hens per 1 m² of group nest, Council Directive 1999/74/EC) or about 80 hens in organic systems (120 cm² of shared nest per hen, Regulation (EU) 2020/464). These hen numbers assume the EU minimum nest space. National rules and some organic certifiers are stricter, so check your local regulations and certifier requirements to size the total nesting area for your flock.

Assembled length runs 1109 mm per segment plus a fixed 575 mm for the front collection space and the rear pulley. The allowance is drawn as one hatched band at the front for clarity; on the real unit it is split between the two ends.
